Plans for syncing ppc-aix-port/stage with jdk8u-dev

Hi Vladimir,

what are your plans for syncing ppc-aix-port/stage with jdk8u-dev?

Do you only want to do it right before we push ppc-aix-port/stage to jdk8u-dev?

I'm just asking, because things are becoming increasingly complex (at
least for me:)

- For example I'm waiting for 7133499 to arrive in jdk8u (will
hopefully happen soon under Bug ID 8033139 which is a backport of
7133499). But after that I'll have to fix AIX in stage.

- We also did change "8033154: PPC64: Fix AIX build after integration
into jdk9/dev" after we integrated stage-9 into jdk9/dev. A part of
this fix will be probably needed in stage as well, depending on which
changes from jdk9 have also been downported to jdk8u.

I think it would be good to do at least one (perhaps even two) rounds
of syncing stage with jsk8u before we finally push stage to jdk8u.
This will give us the chance of fixing all the problems in stage and
avoids the necessity of fixing them later in jdk8u directly.

What do you think?

Thanks and best regards,
Volker
