src/java.base/share/classes/java/security/doc-files/security-related-system-properties.html line 142:

Precisely, the list below is not the sub-options, the `engine=` is the sub-option.

So, it should probably be

            `engine=(engines)` : The output is displayed only for a specified list of JCA engines.
