I'd like to report that adding:

  -XX:+SafepointTimeout -Xlog:safepoint=trace

covers an issue.

I had 5 redeployment in the row with an attemp to reproduce the issue, and I
can't do it anymore.

Seems that safepoint synchronization avoid condition that leads to a deadlock.
