Submitted bugs go to Nirwana

I understand most of the process, but I'm definitely not *someone
responsible* for the bugparade.
For bugs.sun.com, there is a team responsible for screening the initial
submissions to make sure the submission is complete/valid before it's
entered in the Sun bug database. They do get behind. If you have
something you want to discuss about an issue you've submitted, my best
advice is to contact the responsible team and ask about it.

P.S. bugs.sun.com is completely separate from the patch submission
server (bugs.openjdk.java.net) which you wrote about in a previous
email. That is for patch submissions only. Bug reports submitted there
will probably be closed by the appropriate team member.
