Is it possible to contribute and improve openjdk.java.net site?

Even if Java has more developers than Perl, that's no reason to have a
worse web page. I fully agree that the openjdk home page is bad. It
still confuses *me*, and I've been using it regularly for years. I can't
even begin to imagine what it must look like to people seeing it the
first time.
Since there is no formalized process for fixing the web page, Sergey,
why don't you and your web designer friend create a mockup or
demonstration of an alternative design? Then we'll have a concrete
example to reason about.
