preparing an IcedTea6-1.8 release

Hi,

I would like to prepare an IcedTea6-1.8 release, which I would like to include 
into the coming Debian and Ubuntu releases. The build failures introduced with 
the 6b18 import are now fixed, not seeing any more build failures. Would be 
reasonable to do this before switching to 6b19, and preparing a prerelease for 
mid/end of next week, and the final release for the end of March?
